WHAT DO YOU DO AT FAST FORWARD UNLIMITED?

My primary focus at Fast Forward in digital marketing. I specialize in developing strategies and sales systems utilizing email, social media, and content marketing. I also do a lot of lead generation and eCommerce conversion optimization.

WHAT ASPECT OF MARKETING DO YOU FEEL IS MOST IMPORTANT?

Numbers! I see it over and over, companies just don’t know their numbers. Lifetime customer value, average order value, conversion rate, customer acquisition cost, etc.. It’s very difficult to effectively market your business if you don’t know these numbers.

Often time we see our clients focus on metrics like traffic, and bounce rate instead of the numbers that really matter.

FREE TIME?

Between work and a small child, I don’t get much free time, but when I do, I love to play golf in the summer and ice hockey during the winter.

That being said, online marketing is also one of my passions, so I’m often reading, listening, or watching something about online marketing.

 Marketing Background

In 2008 I tried to promote my business on Google. In 1 day, I spent $3,000 and I didn’t get a single phone call. At the time I was devastated, but I quickly became intrigued.

I thought to myself, “How can I spend $3,000 and not get a single call?”

For the next 2 years, from 6:00 am to 12:00 am 7 days a week, I sat on the computer and learned as much as I can about online marketing.

From there, I worked for a company for free to get some experience.

I then went on to another company where I grew their eCommerce sales from $250,000 to just under $1,000,000 in less than 6 months.

In 2012 I started a baking blog with a professional pastry chef and in under 2 years, we grew the blog to about 1 million visits per month, a YouTube channel which got 20 million views and 200,000 subscribers, an email list of 40,000 subscribers, and a Facebook fan page of about 37,000 Likes.

In 2015, I started working with another eCommerce company that I helped grow to over $3,000,000 implementing the strategies and techniques that I’ve learned along the way.

And in 2016, I started working at Fast Forward Unlimited.
