I’m continuously adapting and growing here at Fast Forward and like to think I’m a bit of a jack of all trades as I do a little of everything. My department is Graphic Design but I am also thoroughly involved with photography, web design, marketing campaigns and overall strategy development. I am constantly trying to look at things in a different perspective and apply a unique approach to every project.

Aside from more technical aspects, one of the most crucial things for me is simply to stand out and be different. Although there are certain standards necessary for making great design, I am a fond believer in breaking the rules.

One of my biggest passions in life is painting; with fine art, there is no such thing as right or wrong and something as free and liberating as painting should not be restricted. I believe the same theory applies to design and all other forms of art. The only way to discover and grow within both business and life is to leave your comfort zone and lay it all out on the table. Being bold and unorthodox opens the door to new opportunities and possibilities that normally would not arise when playing it safe. I attempt to incorporate this uninhibited mindset into everything I do in life, especially at Fast Forward.

Artist. Designer. Adrenaline Junkie

Before Fast Forward

From a very young age I knew that I wanted to pursue a career within art. My original passion was fine art as I have been drawing since I was a very little kid. At the age of 10 I started taking painting classes, which I fell in love with, and have been painting ever since. My high school offered a Commercial Art vocational class that opened my eyes to the world of graphic design which lead me to pursue this as my major in college. I was intrigued by the potential that could come from combining my interests for these two types of art.

Aside from art, extreme sports have always been something I was involved with. From skateboarding to dirt bikes, anything that allows me to go fast and jump high has my attention. I thrive off of this high risk and try to apply that concept to my approach in art, design and life in general.

Quirky Design Characteristics

I’m a sucker for unconventional, edgy design.

My Boxer, Gracie, spends almost as much time in the studio as I do.

Free Time?

I’m a bit of a daredevil and extreme sports enthusiast, so you’ll find me indulging in any activity that gets my adrenaline pumping. Most of my free time is spent riding my motorcycle and snowboarding. When I decide to slow it down a bit, I love getting lost for hours painting and drawing.
